Governor Makinde Boosts Security Agencies with Provision of Operational Vehicles
“We also presented vehicles to the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA),” he stated.
In a bid to elevate security measures, Governor of Oyo State, Mr. Seyi Makinde has provided the security agencies in the state with over 100 operational vehicles.
The governor made this known on his X, formerly Twitter account on Wednesday, adding that the vehicles are provided with communication devices.
“This morning, we handed over 100 operational vehicles equipped with communication gadgets to security agencies in Oyo State including the Police, ‘Operation Burst,’ DSS, Correctional Service and Oyo Amotekun.
“We also presented vehicles to the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA),” he stated.
Governor Makinde assured the security agencies in the state that his administration will continue to support them with the equipment they need to do their jobs, stressing that their welfare will always be prioritised.
He also thanked them for their contributions towards securing the state.
